Born in the sweet sunny island of Jamaica, Patrick Blair from the age of 2 years old was already trying to learn how to play his grandfather’s guitar. He would travel with his grandfather to local churches as he ministered in music. Always passionate about reggae music, Blair at the age of 18, was on his way to a dance with some friends and out of curiosity decided to stop by a Sunday night church service. There he saw people dancing under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. He made several attempts to leave the service but it felt like something was holding him there. The Pastor gave an alter call and Blair felt he was talking directly to him. The Pastor referring to the scripture that says “Young men I call upon you because you are strong” also said “If you love God, give him a chance in your life and he will make all things new for you”. Although it was the Pastor speaking, Blair felt it was God speaking directly to him. That night Blair gave his life to God. God changed his life but didn’t change his passion for music. Instead Blair decided to use the musical gifts and abilities passed down to him from his grandfather Uriah Blair, to write and compose music to spread the message of God’s love. Blair has taken his music to another level composing and writing music for himself as well as other artists. He works on tracks (riddims) and has released his freshman project “Peace and Love”. Already a huge success in it’s first two weeks of being released in Canada and is getting airplay throughout the US and in the Caribbean. He has shared the stage with several artists namely Sanchez, Prof. Nutts, Prodigal, Min. Goddy Goddy, Sherwin Gardner, Stitchie, Marvia Providence, Papa San, George Banton and many more. Blair is currently an active member at his church and involved in the music ministry department. A very versatile and multi-talented musician, Blair can play several instruments including the organ, bass guitar and drums.
